Ο Martin Krejzlík είναι Τσέχος σκηνογράφος, εικαστικός, αρχιτέκτονας και γλύπτης με διεθνή δραστηριότητα.

Σπουδές
He studied at the Václav Hollar Secondary School of Art and completed a six-year master’s programme at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), specialising in sculpture and glass in architecture.
His studies included the Metal and Jewellery Studio with V. K. Novák, glyptics and medal design with J. Harcuba, and the Glass in Architecture Studio with Marian Karel.
In 1997, he undertook a study placement at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in the studio of Professor Bruce Chao.

From 1999, he worked intensively on film projects, contributing to the design and realisation of sets for Joan of Arc, Blade II, xXx, Shanghai Knights, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and the television series 12 Monkeys, alongside numerous commercials and music videos.
Since 2001, he has worked as a Production Designer. Across a 25-year career, he has completed more than 800 projects and created approximately 2,200 sets and scenic environments in Prague, Athens, Cairo, Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and France. Projects shaped by his work have received numerous international awards.

MARTIN / MARTINUS
Martin comes from the Roman name Martinus, derived from Martis, the genitive form of Mars. Linguistically, the name carries the meaning “of Mars”. Its later Christian history is strongly associated with Saint Martin of Tours.

Giacomo Filippo Nini (1629–1680) was a Sienese churchman who worked in the papal administration. He became titular Archbishop of Corinth in 1664 and Cardinal-Priest of Santa Maria della Pace in 1666. He participated in three papal conclaves and served as Camerlengo of the Sacred College of Cardinals in 1679–1680.
Achilles is the English form of the Greek Achilleus; its precise etymology remains disputed. In Homeric tradition, he is the son of Peleus and Thetis, leader of the Myrmidons and the foremost Greek warrior at Troy. He is a hero—not the god of war.
Historical records establish Giacomo Filippo Nini’s offices and career. They do not by themselves establish a genealogical connection to a modern family; that connection remains Martin’s personal family account unless supported by documented genealogy.
